A) COVID-19 FLEXIBILITY GUARANTEE (commencing 30/09/2020 and will be active until 30/04/2022)
Our Covid-19 Flexibility Guarantee provides the reassurance you need to book with us. To give you complete peace of mind and keep things as simple as possible, we’re applying the guarantee to all future bookings – regardless of when you booked or the terms and conditions that were in place at the time.
If you are unable to proceed with your booking due UK government restrictions related to Covid-19 which prevent you from attending a course/training with us (such as travel bans or enforced self-isolation - evidence will need to be provided) you will be able to choose from one of the following options :
a) Reschedule to another course date of your choice from any of those advertised on our website. Changes made within a predefined 'change window' will not be subject to any of our usual administration or cancellation fees.
b) Postpone your booking and apply a credit note to your order. The credit note can be redeemed at any time within three years from the original date of your course and will be valid for the full value of your chosen course regardless of any changes in price between date of booking and date of attendance. Additionally credit notes may be redeemed against any other course of your choice, in this case they will be valid for the cash value originally paid. If the cost of the newly selected course is higher then you will need to pay the difference.
1. The Covid-19 Flexibility Guarantee ‘change window' allows any course date change within the period of 28 days and 3 days prior to arrival.
2. Should UK Government advice significantly change in the 3 days prior to arrival, we will reactivate the Guarantee for you.
3. Please be aware that if the cost of your new booking is higher than your original booking, then you’ll need to pay the difference.
4. The Covid-19 Flexibility Guarantee applies to bookings made directly with us and excludes any bookings through third party sites.
5. The Covid-19 Flexibility Guarantee does not replace our Standard Booking Terms & Conditions. All other booking terms and conditions remain unchanged. The Guarantee will be reviewed regularly and is subject to change or removal without prior notice.
6. The Covid-19 Flexibility Guarantee does not apply to 3rd party bookings for NGB Courses (Qualifications) and also First Aid Courses as we are only an agent for these organisations and their own terms and conditions supersede ours.
B) COVID-19 Lockdown Cancellations
Any course cancellation due to Covid related issues, including but not limited to national lockdowns and local or national restrictions, is non refundable. In this case all clients will be offered rescheduling or credit notes in line with the details above. Cancellations for any other reason will continue to be processed in line with our standard terms and conditions (below).
C) STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.1. All courses include VAT unless otherwise stated.
1.2. All places must be reserved by booking online or over the phone and a specified deposit or full balance.
1.3. The balance of the fee is payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the course. In the event that the balance is not paid we will have the discretion to treat the booking as cancelled by the client and re-sell the course place.
1.4. The whole course fee is required to reserve a place for any booking made within 6 weeks of the commencement of the course.
2. CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
2.1. All cancellations must be in writing.
2.2. The client will be charged the following cancellation fees depending on the date the course commences (when calculating any potential refund the initial booking date will be considered rather than any reschedule dates):-
2.3.1. 25% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place more than 4 weeks before the commencement of the course;or
2.3.2. 75% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before the commencement of the course;or
2.3.3. 100% of the total course fee where cancellation takes place within the final 2 weeks before the commencement of the course.
2.4. Gift vouchers are non-refundable after the cooling off period.
2.5 Amendments- Substitution of the original customer for another can be made provided at least 2 weeks notice is given by the substituted customer to the company and the substituting customer satisfies the requirement of the course. All substitutions must be made with the consent of the company with both the substituted and substituting customer being jointly and severally liable for the total course fee as well as an administrative cost of £35.00 per course/substitution.A customer may apply, in writing, to change course or course dates as long as the original booking is more than 6 weeks from the date of the request. The new course must be one that appears on our website or is in the current brochure. An administrative charge of £35.00 is payable at the time of change. Any requests to change course or course dates within the 6 week period will be dealt with under the terms and conditions relating to cancellation by the customer.
2.6. REFUNDS POLICY for GOODS By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you.
3. CANCELLATION BY Pure Outdoor Ltd
3.1. Whilst every attempt is made to ensure that advertised courses actually run, Pure Outdoor Ltd. will notify the client of cancellation as soon as practicable where it believes on reasonable grounds that cancellation is necessary due to dangerous and/or unsuitable conditions for the course activity.
3.2. Pure Outdoor Ltd. shall notify the client of cancellation not less than five days prior to the commencement of the course where numbers as a result of client (s) cancellation failed to reach a workable minimum for the commencement of the course.
3.3. Cancellation by Pure Outdoor Ltd. does not affect a client's right to a refund of travel costs that he/she may have incurred prior to the cancellation and since lost except in the circumstances set out in clauses 3.1. and 3.2.
3.4. In the event of cancellation clients will be offered the choice of the following options:-
3.4.1. Full refund of the course fee paid;
3.4.2. Another course on different dates.
4. HEALTH, FITNESS, WEATHER AND EQUIPMENT
4.1. Clients should be aware that courses will involve walking over rough, sometimes steep terrain, for a number of miles in varying weather conditions. Each client should satisfy him/herself that he/she is sufficiently fit, and in possession of the appropriate clothes and equipment.
5.1 Pure Outdoor Ltd. is fully insured for Public Liability. It is recommended that all participants are covered by some form of travel and personal insurance; normally these policies cover cancellation, personal accident and personal liability.
